I am primarily focused on investigating the diversity of secondary metabolites (monoterpenes) within Menthinae subtribe (mint family) as well as tracing their evolutionary history. In addition, I aim to study the expansion and contraction of genes involved in the monoterpenes biosynthetic pathway to gain insights into underlying mechanisms driving this diversity.
