Research

Amanda Koltz studies the links between global environmental change, biodiversity and ecosystem health. Her research is broadly interested in how biological communities respond and adapt to environmental change and what the consequences of changing species interactions are for the cycling of energy and nutrients within ecosystems. She and her lab work to answer these questions using organisms that are widely distributed, sensitive to change and have the potential to influence key ecosystem services.
