EEB Ph.D. Course Requirements
EEB students are required to take:
- EEB 389D Subjects and Skills for Graduate Students in the Biological Sciences is to be taken in the fall semester of the students first year.
- EEB 384L Issues in Population Biology, must register for this seminar course for one semester. This seminar is during the fall and spring semester, but registration for It is only offered in the spring semester.
- At least two of the three Fundamental courses offered, EEB 390C Evolution, EEB 390D Animal Behavior or EEB 390E Ecology.
- One computational/quantitative skills course.
- One additional course, which maybe a lecture or seminar course.
- EEB _82 Advanced Study and Research: Every semester through candidacy. The number of credit hours per semester will depend on the number of hours of course work for that semester.
- EEB _99W Dissertation: Every semester post candidacy. The number of credit hours per semester will depend on the number of hours of course work for that semester.
