My research explores how social interactions and group dynamics shape the brain and behavior. Social behavior is inherently complex, as individuals must integrate external sensory information with previously learned and acquired experiences in order to dispaly adaptive behavioral responses. I am keenly interested to understand how indivdiuals make real time decisions in shifting their  behavioral strategies in response to changes within the social environment. I utilize neuromolecular and genomic techniques in order to elucidate the mechanistic basis of complex social behavior.
