I am a PhD candidate in the Keitt Lab at UT Austin, in the Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior program. I embarked on my doctoral journey after earning a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Florida. Prior to joining the Keitt Lab, I gained experience as a field technician, contributing to various research projects over a span of two years.

My research lies in the intersection of spatial ecology and evolution, with a particular emphasis on avian systems. My dissertation encompasses projects focused on range expansion, migration connectivity, and spatial evolutionary dynamics. To tackle these questions, I employ integrated methodologies, including Bayesian Statistics, Machine Learning, Ecological Modeling, and Bioinformatics, leveraging big data approaches.

When I'm not working in the lab you can find me running trails around Austin, swimming at Barton Springs, or birding at Common's Ford.
