Seminar Title: The Ecology of Avian Migration in a Changing World

Dr. Contina is interested in movement ecology, evolution, and wildlife conservation. In particular, the studing of migratory birds and their adaptive response to environmental change. Dr. Contina's research shows that by implementing cutting-edge data analysis (i.e., stable isotopes, genetics), in conjunction with bio-logging techniques, we can integrate scientific knowledge under a novel and unifying ecological framework.
